1. How can I register for Membership?

Click here to apply for membership. You will receive both a US and a UK address shortly.

2. Can I start using my Shipping Address once I get it?

YES! Once you receive your membership confirmation, you are ready to start shopping!

Please ensure all your shipments include the address of the Something Random warehouse and your unique Customer ID. Packages shipped with an incomplete or inaccurate address may be delayed.

3. I have a common name. How can I be sure no one else picks up my packages?

When you first register with us, we ensure you are using a unique ID embedded in your shipping address. Be sure to use that full name in the address you use when shopping online. When your package arrives, we use the name on the package to determine what e-mail address we send the notification to. Before you pick up your package, we ask for a government issued ID. In the case of common names in our database, we also ask those customers to recite their e-mail address. This way, we can be sure we are giving the package to the correct ‘John Njoroge’.

4. How do I enter my Shipping Address?

We shall provide you a specific address to use whenever you buy from US and/or UK online stores. You may also be asked for a “billing address” when paying online retailers. This normally requires you to use the address currently associated with your credit card.

5. Do your rates include Customs Fees, Duties and Taxes?

Yes, our rates are all inclusive of taxes and duties applicable in Kenya.

6. When am I charged for Shipping?
You will be charged for shipping costs when we either deliver your goods to your doorstep or when you come to collect from our office in Karen.
7. Which modes of payment do you accept?
Something Random accepts Cash, M-PESA, Bank transfers, PesaPal (which includes Visa, MasterCard & American Express) and PayPal payments.
